Hello, IAS Members,
Thanks to the beautiful Caladium
photos and article from LariAnn Garner as well as Tom
Croat’s photo-studded field log to the Guianas, the
June IAS Newsletter is colorful indeed! You may have already received it in
your email. Lester Kallus has written a wonderful article about packing plants,
complete with photos illustrating each step. This will be helpful when you want
to pack up the plants that you purchase at the IAS Show in Miami (September 17-18, 2011)! Lester hopes
to have a packing table at the Show for this purpose which is a fantastic idea.
There are also other interesting articles and photos in the Newsletter so
please check them out. Many thanks to everyone that contributed to this issue
and also those behind the scenes whose work made this possible.
If you missed contributing to this issue, please consider submitting
an article to the August IAS Newsletter. The deadline for that issue will be
July 15 so there is plenty of time to write an article, collect some photos and
let fellow aroiders know your growing tips and interests or tell them about
some exciting places that you have visited. I hope to hear from you in the next
several weeks. Please remember that your contributions are what make the IAS
Newsletter.
Thanks and best wishes,
Carla Kostelac
