Almost all=A0of what is sold and grown in cultivation as Aspidistra elatior 'Milky Way' or Aspidistra lurida 'Milky Way' is actually Aspidistra lurida 'Ginga' ("Ginga' is Japanese for Galaxy). This cultivar only has spots. The true Milky Way is rare and has spots AND stripes and is Aspidistra lurida 'Amanogawa' (Japanese for Milky Way).
