[Aroid-l] Amorphophallus titanum spadix emerges - Gustavus Adolphus

Hello All,
The Amorphophallus titanum (Perry) at Gustavus
Adolphus College poked out its spadix yesterday, and our live streaming
webcam went on line. We now roughly estimate that flowering will
occur on about July 20.
Here's a link for the latest blog post and camera
links: live streaming camera (continuous) and close-up webcam
(image renewed once per minute).
Anyone who happens to be in the area is welcome to stop by
for a live look.
