I have a proposal to make to the International AroidSociety board of directors in September and would enjoy feedback from all thatsubscribe to Aroid l. Please don't think you shouldn't respond justbecause you haven't joined the IAS.........yet. Part of the proposal isto hopefully give you more reasons to want to join but no one is going to becalling you or flooding your inbox with mail!

Would everyone receiving these posts today hit "reply" right now and tell us what state or countryyou live in? If you are willing, please also tell us what genera ofAraceae you enjoy growing and if you have specific suggestions as to how theIAS can serve you personally please add a brief note.

Thanks to all and please do consider joining your fellow aroiders on September19 and 20 at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardenin Miami, FL! There will be lots of aroids to peruse and take home, great presentations, awonderful tropical garden with a living rain forest to explore and great foodat the Saturday night dinner!
