ABSTRACT:
Anthurium zuluagae is recorded in the municipality of Gachalá (Department of Cundinamarca), in the Colombian Eastern Cordillera. This new record expands its distribution area in Colombia. Anthurium zuluagae is an uncommon and poorly known species. Therefore, more research on its population status and ecological characteristics, such as type of pollinators and dispersers, is needed as well as to understand the distribution patterns of the Colombian aroids particularly in the Eastern Cordillera.
