ABSTRACT:
The Neotropical genus Dracontium has been revised in 2004 and more than half of the known species have been described in the last eleven years. This article describes and illustrates two new Amazonian species: D. laetum E.G.Gonc¸. & S.P. Santos and D. narae E.G.Gonc¸. Both species are so far known from the type locality, but their putative rarity is probably an artifact caused by scanty collections.
