ABSTRACT:
Spathiphyllum solomonense Nicolson, a species intermediate between Holochlamys and Spathiphyllum, is here recognized as unispecific Spathiphyllum sect. nov. Chlaenophyllum. The history of our knowledge of the species is reviewed.
