Taccarum weddellianum Brongn. ex Schott, ranges from southern Brazil (Acre, Matto Grosso) to Bolivia and Paraguay, occurring in seasonally dry habitats, where the plants Croat 95 lose their solitary leaf during all or part of the dry season.
